Agent terms

Who we are

bookinfo.eu is operated by EQT von 2018, S.L., CIF B16582819, Carrer de Pere de Portugal 11, 4A, 07800 Ibiza, Illes Balears, Spain, hello@bookinfo.eu ("EQT", "we"). These terms apply between EQT and every travel agent, agency or concierge ("the agent", "you") who uses an agent account on bookinfo.eu.

What the account is for

You use your account to check availability and prices of the stays we offer, to send your clients a proposal page under your own name, and to book those stays for your clients.

You act in your own name towards your client. Your client is your client: we do not contact them about anything except their stay, and we do not use their details for marketing.

Prices

Each stay shows the client price, your commission and the amount you transfer to us. The price shown is valid on the day it is checked; until the first payment has reached us, the dates stay open to others and the price can change.

You may add your own margin on top of the client price. You may not offer a stay to anyone at a price below the price at which the same stay is published directly by its operator.

Your commission

Your commission is 10% of the client price excluding the tourist tax, IVA included. For an agent established in another EU country who invoices under the reverse charge, the commission is 8,26% without IVA, so that our total cost is the same.

Commission is earned only on money we have actually received. On a booking that is cancelled or released, commission earned on payments already received stays yours; there is no commission on amounts we have not received.

When a client reserves a stay for 48 hours and the reservation fee is kept because the stay is not booked, you earn 20% of that fee, IVA included.

How you pay us

Your client pays you. You pay us the client price less your commission, by bank transfer to the account shown in your account, quoting the booking reference.

50% within 48 hours of confirming the booking; the balance by the date shown for that stay (six weeks before arrival for most stays, earlier where the owner of a partner villa requires it). When arrival is close, the full amount is due within 48 hours.

The dates are kept for your client only once the first payment has reached us.

Late payment, cancellation and refunds

If a payment has not reached us by its due date, or the booking is cancelled, the dates go back on the market. If the payment then arrives and the dates are still free, the booking is secured again and earlier payments count towards it. If the dates have been booked by someone else in the meantime, they cannot be offered to your client.

Money we have received is not refunded, in any of these cases. One change of dates is possible if asked for before the balance is due, to dates that are free; money already paid moves to the new dates, a higher price for the new dates is paid on top, and a lower price is not refunded.

Events outside anyone's control (travel restrictions, cancelled flights, illness) are treated as a cancellation. Your client should hold travel insurance.

If we cannot provide the stay (serious damage, the owner withdraws the property, a legal or licence problem), we offer a stay of the same standard or better, or refund everything we have received for it, and nothing beyond that. Commission on refunded money is reversed.

Partner villas follow their owner's terms where they are stricter; these are shown with each stay and copied into the proposal when you create it.

You and your client

Whatever you agree with your client, including any refund, credit or flexibility beyond these terms, is between you and your client and does not bind us.

Your client has no claim against us for compensation, access to the property or anything else unless we have received the payments due for the stay. You are responsible towards your client for the money they pay you.

You pass on to your client the booking conditions of the stay, including the house rules, the maximum number of guests and the security deposit.

Self-billing agreement

You agree that EQT issues the invoices for your commission in your name and on your behalf (article 5 of Real Decreto 1619/2012). Each invoice is issued when we receive a payment, in a numbering series of its own for you, and a copy is sent to you by email and shown in your account.

You may object to an invoice within 15 days of receiving it, by email to hello@bookinfo.eu. If you do not, the invoice is accepted. You remain responsible for declaring the IVA on your invoices where it applies.

You keep your business details in your account up to date. This agreement ends when your account is closed.

Your account

Your account link is your login: keep it private. You are responsible for what is done with it.

Either of us can close the account at any time by email. Bookings already confirmed continue under these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Ibiza.
